One hundred and ninety-two dispensaries were issued with permits by the state of Missouri, allowing them to sell medical marijuana to patients. Of the 192 dispensaries, eight are located in Springfield City. Missouri has eight Congressional districts, and each of them was issued with 24 licenses by the state Department of Health and Senior Services. On Thursday, Virginia Senators passed a bill decriminalizing marijuana within the state. The legislation removes the threat of imprisonment for simple marijuana possession.
