(OTCQB: GRYN) today announced that it has opened escrow for the purchase of the Potrero Ranch Property near San Diego, California. Per the update, the land package covers 824 acres of flat, native grassland pasture sheltered by surrounding mountains and is ideal for hemp cultivation, with an abundant water supply and favorable altitude and soil pH. The property includes outbuildings spanning 294,000 square feet that are suitable for use as greenhouses or storage. A large built-in cooler is installed in the main building. “Given that there is the potential to harvest 1,200 to 1,500 pounds of hemp per acre, we can produce two crops per year, and the price of hemp is at an average of $50 dollars per pound, this initiative has the potential to produce significant revenues for the Company,” GRYN Vice President of Business Development Matt Dole stated in the news release. “This will also provide a base of operations for several other equally exciting initiatives.
