Voters approved a ballot measure in 2008 to legalize medical cannabis in Michigan and since then, the list of the qualifying conditions has been expanding slowly. Senator Anthony Delcollo has introduced a bill in the state senate to change the law so that doctors will be free to decide which patient would be helped by medical marijuana instead of first checking whether that patient has a condition listed in the medical marijuana law. The Georgia House of Representatives voted last week (March 5) and passed a bill intended to regulate the manufacture and sale of medical marijuana oil. This bill now goes to the state senate for consideration before it becomes law.
