Senate Bill 305, also called The Compassionate Access to Cannabis Act, has been tabled (this week) before a Senate Committee in California. The bill is intended to allow patients who are terminally ill to access medical marijuana while they are in hospital or other care facilities. The bill is also referred to as “Ryan’s Law.” Ryan Bartell lost his life to pancreatic cancer at 42 years of age last year.
