The 6th Annual New England Cannabis Convention (NECANN) is the another highly-anticipated iteration of the largest and longest-running cannabis conference series in the northeast. Taking place March 20-22, 2020, at Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts, NECANN Boston is considered the can’t-miss event of the year by cannabis growers, consumers and business cultivators across the region. In March 2019, NECANN Boston attracted more than 10,000 attendees, and organizers are looking to top that figure in 2020 as the industry continues to develop and expand in the wake of Massachusetts’ recent legalization of recreational marijuana sales.
Rather than focusing on what the New England cannabis industry can do for them, the organizers of NECANN take a collaborative approach to their shows, resulting in a consistently high return on investment for exhibitors, sponsors and attendees while facilitating growth for operators across all sectors of the cannabis space. NECANN 2019 attracted 300+ exhibitors and 100+ speakers, and next year’s event is anticipated to take its place as the ‘Largest NE Cannabis Convention EVER’.
NECANN is scheduled to feature programming tracks on careers, investment, medical marijuana education and cultivation. As the single-largest gathering of education and outreach for the medical marijuana programs in New England, the 2020 event promises to be the perfect opportunity to learn everything you need to know about cannabis and the rapidly expanding industry that surrounds it.
Since 2014, NECANN events have been home base for the New England cannabis industry. These conventions consistently attract the largest number of hemp, MMJ and cannabis industry professionals in the Northeast, and next year’s conference is already being hailed as the most important cannabis industry event on the East Coast!
Three NECANN conventions are upcoming in 2019 ahead of the flagship Boston event. The New Jersey Cannabis Convention will take place September 14-15 at the A.C. Convention Center. With the state’s medical program expanding and all signs pointing toward a vote on recreational use in 2020, the New Jersey convention promises to provide a great networking opportunity for anyone hoping to navigate the state’s cannabis program.
The 5th Annual Maine Cannabis Convention will kick off on October 5 at the Portland Sports Complex in Portland, Maine. It’s anticipated to be the largest cannabis industry event in the Pine Tree State. Just one week later, the 5th Annual Rhode Island Cannabis Convention will get underway at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence.
If you’re doing business in the New England cannabis space or have an interest in doing so, NECANN conferences provide unparalleled chances to network with and learn from established names in the sector. Tickets for NECANN Boston are set to go on sale January 1, 2020. In the meantime, follow NECANN on Twitter and Facebook to stay up to date on the latest announcements and developments regarding upcoming events.
