Canada’s premiere cannabis business event, the presented by ND Supplies Packaging Solutions, is pleased to announce another addition to an already star-studded lineup of speakers and experts. Cannabis culture legend Tommy Chong will be attending as a speaker.
Mr. Chong, the Canadian-born actor and cannabis activist, will also be receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award at the O’Cannabiz Industry Awards Gala, which will also return this year following a successful inaugural debut in 2019. The Awards Gala honours cannabis professionals and companies and recognizes excellence and innovation in the industry. Host of Family Feud Canada, and star of the award-winning sitcom, Mr. D, Gerry Dee will host the awards on April 23rd, where more than 50 awards will be distributed.
Taking place from April 23 – 25, 2020 at The International Centre in Toronto, this year’s event will explore cannabis 2.0 and the rollout of retail; the emerging consumer market of edibles, topicals and concentrates, the data-driven plan for industry growth, the international reach of Canada’s cannabis innovation and more.
The three-day event will feature keynote and informational sessions and exclusive conversations with industry stars and experts in the field, including Grammy award-winning musician and actress Olivia Newton-John and her husband “Amazon John” Easterling, discussing the healing benefits of cannabis.

Canada’s lack of retail distribution of legal cannabis on a national basis has done much to hurt the industry domestically, but a resurgence is underway with new store applications.
